Susanne earned her J.D. Degree from Texas Tech University in 2001, after having worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She began her practice in a major law firm, defending physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical malpractice cases.

She next served 6 years as in house counsel for a major university, insuring and defending the physicians of the university’s School of Medicine.

Becoming a Registered Patent Attorney in 2005, she later became Director of the university’s Office of Technology Transfer & Intellectual Property.

For the past few years she has been in private practice, handling patent, copyright and trademark issues, as well as a variety of civil litigation, real estate and business related cases.
